DESCRIPTION:
Qigong is a Chinese energy-cultivation practice with Daoist and Buddhist roots, using slow, circular, fluid movements to awaken us to the matrix and flow of life within and around us. It cultivates physical spaciousness and ease, while deepening our embodied presence.

In this retreat, Martin Aylward and Mimi Kuo-Deemer weave together their complementary approaches to meditation, Dharma, embodiment and movement. Mimi will guide Qigong practices that invite us into a more vital, grounded and responsive relationship with life, and Martin will offer meditation instruction, Dharma teachings and explorations of body, heart, mind and reality.

Together, they point to greater wisdom and ease and freedom of heart. The retreat will include silent and guided meditation and movement practices, teachings, discussion and inquiry, and opportunities to meet with the teachers. No Prior experience of either practice is necessary.
