Sukhanta Giri Babaji was my teacher. I discovered his small himalayan hermitage in 1990, and lived with him for much of the next 3 years. In this film I recount details of his life and his impact on mine, along with teaching reflexions on meditation and liberation that arose in the telling. The story is accurate as far as my memory is, remembering details he told me by the fireside in his hermitage while we were snowed in for two weeks in the winter of 1992.
My love for him, the preciousness of those memories, and my gratitude for the transformational effect of my time with him, all come through in the film.
